Good to see Mel back. She last ran with us in November 2005. She was actually 10 seconds faster than last time out. But she talked Guy into reducing her handicap to 5 minutes (that’s why she didn’t win the cup).
We tried this time rounding all the handicaps up to the nearest 15 seconds. This makes it easier for the marshals because people go off in small groups and the marshals have a little while to get them together. It seems to have worked. So the results show the handicaps for next time on the same basis.
As we had 26 runners today, Guy will be inviting four off the waiting list to join us next month.
